The New Nylgut® are the first ropes developed by Aquila. They are made up of three different plastic materials which give them better sound and better tuning than nylon (which absorbs more moisture and degrades faster). Their higher density, similar to that of pure gut strings, produces a less metallic sound than "carbon" strings.
