This limited edition pedal is part of John Snyder's fuzz-drive circuit from Electronic Audio Experiments. The 3 settings are very interactive but they remain simple and intuitive to use. It can serve as a treble booster, amp-type crunchy saturation, powerful fuzz and even give out gate-type sounds. Although it is capable of giving that transistor sound to Silicon, it can be incredibly smooth, vocal and harmonious at high gains by lowering the Voltage setting (the pineapple!). It also has a fake guitar pickup "internally so its performance is not affected by buffering or wireless systems like other pedals of this type would."
