The Blossom is a simple, easy-to-use optical compression model based on the Bloom's green channel (Country mode) and has the exact same compression circuitry. Its optical limiter circuit is inspired by compressors designed during the heyday of tube circuits. Optical compressors are known for their transparency and subtlety. Although the Blossom can be aggressive with extreme compression settings, its strength lies in its ability to bring smoothness and roundness to your sound, thanks to its optical circuit which polishes the roughness of your sound. The frequency response of the compression section is flat like a breadboard (!) And does not affect the bass or treble at all. The Blossom can be powered from 9 to 18 Volts DC for more dynamics, but never more than 18 Volts! Settings - Volume This setting acts as a general volume. Changes with the Comp and Mix settings will surely require adjusting the Volume to keep the overall level the same. - EQ Tilt EQ type, when it is in the central position the tone of the Blossom is completely flat.
