Jhs Pedals fuzz Legends Of Fuzz Bender
In April 1965, a new product changed rock & roll forever. From the workshops of Macari's Musical Exchange on Denmark Street in London, Gary Hurst invented the Tonebender Sola Sound fuzz. Starting with the 1962 US Maestro Fuzz Tone, Gary delved into what fuzz could do and thus gave a new sound to the thriving London scene. Starting with its first prototype made of a simple wooden box (April 1965) until the many other official versions of the Sola Sound such as the MKI (September 1965), the MK2 (mid 1966), the MK3 / MK4 (February 1970), etc., the Tonebender evolved as did the music it helped create. The JHS Bender is our way of recreating the most treasured Tonebender in Josh Scott's personal collection: his 1973 Onomatopoeia "silver / orange MK3 version. This version has 3 very special germanium transistors, mojo tones and over 50 years old. experience, but she's picky and doesn't always do what is expected of her. JHS wanted to replicate the sound of this pedal making it more stable and easier to build. And the result is a pedal that gives you the touch, feel and responsiveness of vintage germanium fuzz but with the precision and stability of carefully selected silicon transistors. The Tone setting allows for bright or dark sounds that make the Bender a great fit. good for different types of guitars and amps. Attack setting controls saturation for more fuzz. On the side is a Mode button which gives access to a JHS mode with more gain and a midrange boost to re Take your solo out of the mix. With more Attack in this mode, you will have a bit of noise reduction depending on the attack of your game. If you like the fuzz sounds of Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, The Beatles, Mick Ronson (David Bowie) and My Bloody Valentine, then the Bender is for you! "
