lr baggs acoustic microphone M1 Active left-handed
Presentation :
LR Baggs thinks of the left-handed with the M1 Active Left-Handed!
The M1 LR Baggs is a humbucker microphone, very popular with many artists and for good reason it is not a microphone like the others. Indeed, the microphone can capture the vibrations of the strings and the body of the guitar for a warm and natural reproduction.
The secret of the M1 microphone lies in the Three-dimensional Dynamic Technology designed by Gary Garret and Lloyd Baggs.
In a standard vertical humbucker, the second (lowest) coil cancels the snoring, but it does nothing positive in the sound. However, it can attenuate the sound of the main coil. LR Baggs therefore separated it so as to make a positive contribution to the sound, while retaining the sound of the main coil, but without the snoring ...
In the M1, the noise canceling coil is suspended under the main coil by a support which allows it to react in three dimensions.
The main coil reacts thanks to the table and creates a signal in the second coil. The sound of the strings and the table combined bring the M1 microphone to life.
It's like having two microphones in your rosette.
Now equipped with a class A preamp, the M1 LR Baggs microphone reaches a whole new level to give birth to the M1 Active.
Thanks to its integrated preamp, the M1 Active makes it possible to avoid any use of an external preamp and makes it a microphone fully compatible with any external equipment.
LR Baggs has even thought of an on-board volume control, easy to access in all situations and which avoids any cutting in the splint.
