Volume limitations in concert halls lead guitarists to use higher and higher preamp gains with lower master levels, thereby forgetting the benefits of distortion and natural compression of the amplifier stage. With the new Laney GHR series, located halfway between the Lionheart amplifiers (rather "classic British") and the Ironheart amplifiers (oriented "hi-gain"), regain control on this amplification stage and mix the quantity of preamp distortion with the amount of tube amplifier distortion you want! When using channel 2, don't think of the OUTPUT control as a general volume, but as a way to more or less use the amplifier section. Then adjust the output level with the VOLUME control!
