Mad Professor booster Ruby Red Booster Ft

The Ruby Booster is a combination of 2 boosters and a buffer. The 2 boosters are designed after the Red Trebler and the Red Rooster Booster by our designer Björn Juhl and are connected in that order in addition to a general volume. The Ruby Red Booster can therefore be used as a treble booster, a clean boost, an overdrive or any combination of these 3 effects. Inside is a selector to engage a high quality buffer, to avoid loss of signal and definition associated with the use of long cables or many pedals. With this selector placed on the right (towards the input), the buffer is activated. On the left, the true bypass is activated. The treble booster is tuned to carefully selected high frequencies with special bandwidth and an optimized curve for bass cutoff. It is controlled by the Treble setting and can go up to 15dB. To use the Ruby Red Booster as a treble booster only, lower the Boost setting completely, turn the Master up to maximum then dose with the Treble setting. The boost circuit, controlled by the Boost setting, is designed to saturate the inputs of the amp and can go up to a very heavy overdrive thanks to its 40dB of boost. The booster is calibrated to produce musical distortion even at high settings. To use as a booster only, set the Treble to the minimum, the Master to the maximum, then dose with Boost. The Master setting allows you to control the general volume of the 2 boosters but also to saturate the pedal.
