Instead of saturating your clean sound, this pedal allows you to have clear sound from your saturated sound. The EOU works very well with vintage single-channel amps that we often prefer to use by pushing them to overdrive. When you turn down the volume on your guitar to lighten the overdriven sound of this amp, the sound often becomes too dark and the clear sound is not as good as the overdriven sound. With EOU you can adjust your sound with 4 settings. It works by lowering the midrange since that is where most of the saturation is. You can reduce the input to the amp with the EOU's volume control, then adjust the bass and treble to sculpt your sound. EOU can also be used to increase the mids by increasing the mids and volume settings.
